credentials
Gareth Bouch, Creative Director
Gareth has been a senior creative and design heavyweight in the UK’s new media sector for over a decade, having specialised in large-scale web builds, digital television services and high profile multi-platform branding for various clients.
A hands-on graphic designer with skills that reach from web and digital television design and usability, to brand creation and development, rebranding, advertising, print and typographics – Gareth is also a former F1 journalist and columnist, writer and reviewer, with a wide knowledge of the world of motorsports and of fans, fansites and web communities.
He managed the AntDavidson.com Anthony Davidson fansite for several years and between 2002 and 2007 built, developed and ran the largest Kimi Raikkonen community and network of sites in the world. He subsequently launched the extensive “BatiFans” network of Alvaro Bautista sites and forum, as well as specialist fansites for other MotoGP riders and teams. These are all based on his understanding of the behaviour of fans online and the crucial importance of professional ground-up builds, good design, industry best-practice usability and accessibility, authoritative, dynamic and “sticky” content, and intensive user management and moderation.
As well as all the best creative practices, motorsport and fan expertise, Gareth is an acknowledged expert in search engine optimisation (SEO) and other specialist practices in maximising the impact of web builds in the marketplace. He does not believe in website builds ending with a launch, but in the necessity of an ongoing development, promotional and SEO strategy.
An enthusiastic supporter of “smart” content delivery, he also created the concept of ‘podBooks’ specifically to work on the notes section of the original iPod, and the most sophisticated iCal application ever written. These were both based on F1 and motorsport subject matter, and were officially distributed by Apple.

Michaela Genz, Associate
Originally a graduate in Modern Languages Spanish and German, Michaela decided to pursue her interest in the media industry by successfully completing an HND in Media Production which helped her to acquire and deepen her skills in various fields such as camera operation, production and editorial work, writing radio pieces and post production.
Beyond this, Michaela also brings to Vroom Media a wealth of commercial and business experience as well as extensive linguistic skills; particularly in the areas of Spanish and German. Matched with her journalistic and copy writing skills, these can be immensely powerful in the development of a truly international fan presence.
She has authored and published many interviews, reports and articles from the circuit and from the paddock, as well as being a key contributor to many of our existing websites.
Michaela is also at the heart of delivering Vroom Media’s photographic services.
Always a keen photographer, it seemed only natural to combine her love for capturing the world in frames and her passion for the world of motorcycle racing. She has covered both race and testing events as DORNA-accredited media, with her photos from trackside and paddock being published online around the globe.

Simona Vogel, Associate
Located in Leipzig, Simona extends the base of Vroom Media to Germany. A graduate in journalism and geography, Simona has been refining her media skills for over a decade now, gaining extensive experience in almost all media formats. In recent years she’s been working as an editor and researcher for newspapers, magazines, websites, radio, film and television.
Beyond the editorial work she also has a keen interest in the media’s technical aspects, acquiring vast knowledge of film and television production processes after working as a camera operator, director, news anchor and reporter, film editor and production assistant, to name just a few.
Being fluent in German and English, Simona has no troubles conducting interviews and writing articles in either language. Thanks to a lifelong fascination with two-wheeled motorsport and frequent visits to the MotoGP paddock, she’s got a deep understanding for the essentials of the sport and is no stranger to reporting live and to the point from the race track.
Simona has authored, translated and published many motorsport-related reports and interviews and is a main editor for many of our websites.
